Figured I would start a build thread for my 2019 Off-Road 4Runner, purchased earlier last year. Coming from a 2008 Tacoma, I was familiar with the platform, but wasn't sold on the newer 3rd gen Tacomas.

With my Tacoma now rolling over 300k, I wanted to sell it while it was still worth a pretty penny. I parted out the racks and a few other ends, and ended up selling her for $20,000. I will admit that this truck never left me stranded once.

Ended up settling on a 2019 TRD Off-Road, with remote-start, heritage grille, and black valences. With 60km on the odometer, and 5-6 trips to the dealership over the course of 3 months, we settled on $48,000 with the ECP package.

First order of business was to lift and change out the rims and tires. Had a buyer lined up for my current rims + tires, and was able to buy a good friends tires off his new jeep (285/70/17 KO2's in C-Load), seeing as he was immediately putting 37's on.

Had my heart set on a specific set of rims, something that was a little more unique and a little harder to find. The Rotiform Six-Or come as a 17x9, offset 1.

For the lift, I ended up going with the OME kit, with 885 coils, and SPC Upper Control Arms. No body mount chop was needed once everything was aligned, and after a little bit of fender liner trimming I have zero rubbing under compression.

    Thank you!

Have been quite happy with them so far, and have yet to see another 4runner with them!

Second order of business was to get the fridge moved over the 4runner that was initially in the Tacoma. I opted to not mount it in the back, and just tied it down in the corner. I did however hardwire it to the battery using an ARB kit. This Dometic CFX-50 is about 5ish years old now, and has gone with me just about everywhere. For myself and the girlfriend it will comfortably store 4 days of food when we are camping, and it's hard to imagine ever going back to a regular cooler.

At the same time I ended up picking up a used ARB single compressor, (for an absolute steal of a deal, practically new) and mounted it using a Rago Fabrication mount kit. Mount and install was quick and easy, and it's been a hell of a lot better compared to my old Smittybilt.
