    2016 Trail
Hi everyone- in the process of getting a new 4Runner to replace my 2006. Found a 2016 SR5 Trail and am curious to know what makes it different than the latter TRD aside from the branding?

A close friend has a 2011 SR5 Trail and raves about it and it is my understanding that the SR5 Trails are relatively uncommon? Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

2016 Trail owner here. It's the same thing as the Off Road, there's literally no difference except they came without badging and had an ice chest. It has the 4WD transfer case and was cheaper than an offroad, so that's why I chose it.
Any Trails after 2016 are just SR5s, and prior to 2014 have the old 4R look.
