Ok, I took the six bracket bolts (2 per bracket) out, The two bolts on each end of the panel and the two Philips head little screws in the panel behind each door threshold when you open each door. So now what? Its not coming off but kinda loose. Is there some type of connector making it stick or is it just jammed in there. I'm afraid to pull to hard on it.

I'm trying to figure out Rock slider or tube step possibilities and wanted to see what it looks like without that fancy trim with the chrome piece in it. Did a Youtube search but couldn't find anything and didn't see any step by step searching this forum.

    Thank you, Any suggestions appreciated,

i believe you got all the bolts and screws out. try shaking it. dirt and mud over the years is like glue.

Thanks for the reply, I shook it pretty good and it seems like there are some tabs or something along the whole length. Maybe not, but I'll look into it. I just don't want to break anything. Those things are expensive:(

    Thanks!

there's just a bunch of plastic clips on the front/rear and along the side of these rockers which hold them up even after you remove all the bolts and screws. i would take pictures of my limited rockers, but i shot rid of them already :)

This guy made a video of the entire process of removing the rocker panel trim from a 2018 Limited, and replacing it with the rocker panel trim used on an SR5 or Off Road. I think you'll see how he got that off and the clips you are encountering that are still holding the trim piece onto your Limited; doesn't look like you have much more to do but give it a good yank (at 06:12 point in the video):

There's also a front trim piece you can add, he didn't show that. You'll see where it goes once he gets the SR5 trim piece installed.
