    Hi all,
First post and it’s a question for all the gurus. I installed a K&N filter on a 2013 and it seems to be running okay. On my test drive the check engine and trac off lights came on. Has this happened to anyone before and what was the fix?
    thank you,
    Vince

You would have to read to code to see what the malfunction is but check the MAF connection to make sure it's plugged in correctly. You may have oil on it from the filter. They will sometimes come over oiled from the factory. Hopefully you didn't add more to it.

if you are very careful you can remove the Mass air flow sensor and Clean it with Electrical contact Cleaner, Just Do Not Touch the little wires inside the Let it dry in put it back in.

I threw P2111 "Throttle Actuator Control System Stuck Open" and the truck went into limp mode. I erased the code, but I plan to clean the MAF sensor and throttle body tomorrow.

Willing to bet the over-oiled K&N fouled the MAF sensor.

One-at-this-price stripper. Bought new 34 yrs ago, a $13K leftover. Added Detroit TruTrac, 1”rear spring spacer and “pinstripes”… Factory AC kit and roof rack bought at dealer cost at time of purchase, still blows ice cold 32yrs later. 2022 AG ORP all stock.

Thanks all. Took another look and the air sensor was not completely seated. Haven’t driven it yet but started right up with no lights.
