I have a 2011 Toyota 4Runner SR5. It has a 3 inch lift with 285 BFG’s. I’m having the same issue as a lot of you have had with traction control kicking in while going around some turns and have read many of threads on what that might be. The other thing I need help with is the fact that when I manually turn traction control off with the button. After I drive about a mile or so and the traction control light will turn off and I’m not able to turn it back off for quite some time. Anyone have any ideas on what my problem could be, and how to fix this?

Welcome to the forum Ernie, maybe a 0 point calibration would help. Someone with more knowledge will probably chime in shortly to help out.

You need a 0 point calibration to reset the basic settings of the stability control system.

Also the traction control can only be turned off below a certain speed, once you hit the speed (25 or 35, something like that) traction control is turned back on and can’t be turned off until your below that speed again.
