2 broken down 4 runners, sell or fix?

Ive been holding on to these 2 4runners. 1 is a 94 that was ran out of oil and ruined the engine. the other is a 95 that had a brandnew motor put in, but a headgasket blew at 18 thousand miles. both are in great condition. Is it worth it to fix them? i only want to spend about 1000 on either buying a new car or fixing one of those.

 

you can maybe find a used 3.0 for $5-800.
you can do 3.0 head gaskets for $2-300.
depending on where you're from, you may get $800-2000 for them.
