Hello, just got my first 4runner on Xmas eve. Stock 2014 4runner platinum 4x4 w/3rd row 65k miles, the tires are 265’s, stock roof rack and a moon roof. Loving it more n more everyday.

there’s SO much you can do I’m not sure wher to start lol. I surf, go camping and now would like to enjoy some trails time to time. I’m in southern ca It’s mainly a daily driver for now. I surf a couple times a month but camping and trails will be a few times a yr so I don’t think I need some heavy duty set up.

I know there’s a lot of ground to cover in this so I’m going to post separate threads for a lift, tires/rims and my front bumper.

I’m interested in a new roof rack that won’t be in the way of my sun roof and maybe a stereo as well but mainly I’d like to know mods that I’m not thinking of. These were just 2 I’m looking into.

    Thank you!

SR5 Premium.....Looks great!! nice choice on the color...

depending on the size of your boards, and the trails you want to do, your truck is able to handle all those duties of surfing, camping and trails.

i can fit my 7'2" fun board in the back by laying down the back seats and rolling down the rear window. definitely get the rear cargo tray for your wetsuit though and all-season floor mats because its hard to vacuum sand out.

tires would be a nice upgrade for harder trails
