I have been getting a lot of low ball offers locally as most people cannot distinguish between a clapped out stock 4runner and this one so I thought bringing it to where people know what they are looking at might help. Thanks for the compliment. It is a VERY nice and great running 3rd gen.

BTW, before anyone asks I don't want to part anything out as the spring rates for the lift were matched to the bumper and winch weight.

New door seals also, think that didn't get listed. I thought my son would stay in this forever so we didn't spare the $$ getting it right.

I would pull that from craigslist and put it on bring a trailer. You may get 10k+ over there because it’s so nice. If you have paperwork for all that maintenance and the frame looks just as good as the rest, it would do very well on bringatrailer.com

Trust me my son got it plenty filthy lots of times. With the lift and rear locker it's a legit offroader.

I've bought and sold on BaT but think I'll still try it on the forums and locally for a while. Plus not sure BaT would allow a reserve I could live with. Much below this price and I'll just keep it. Underside is super clean with no frame rust issues (some surface rust of course) and I do have receipts for all the work.

    Too many. :)

Seriously though, given the miles he's put on it and the period of ownership not bad. I had the timing belt and water pump done by a good Indy shop I trust and we bought if from King's Chariots out of Jacksonville FL with the lift, bumper / winch, and wheels already on it. But I replaced the carpet, installed the stereo, door seals, wind deflector, rebuilt the rear axles and brakes, rebuilt the front suspension and did the Tundra brake upgrade, removed all the lower cladding and refinished it with the rubberized coating, installed the new tie rods and links and poly bushings various places, replaced the alternator and power steering pump. So when I think about it quite a few weekends spent working on it. Probably the biggest PITA job was putting the poly bushings on the steering rack. What a job it is to get to that center bolt that holds the rack to the frame! So certainly a few hundred hours all told.

The truck though has actually been amazingly reliable. Not once did it ever break down or leave him stranded. Typical 4runner reliability.

Sold today for full asking price. They got a great deal on a great truck. Thanks for all the encouraging words. I'll be over on the 4th gen forum going forward as we still have three of those!
