1998 3Gen SR5 Drivers Seat Quandre

Well first time owner - and my drivers seat front left bolt is loose. The portion that was welded in floor has broke loose and the bolt will not unscrew any more from said nut. Any suggestions short of cutting the bolt and drilling completely through floor and with some additional hardware on underneath side of floor tighten seat to floor attachment ?

 

Take it into a body shop. I had this happen and they cut away the bolt and used some adhesive to keep the broken end from rattling around before they welded a new mount over the broken one. The stock mounts eventually do this and must be reinforced.

The longer you drive around with a broken seat mount the more likely it is that the other 3 seat mounts will fail too.

 

I’m ashamed - that was easy and great advice ! I made it harder than it was !
