Hi there! First post, thanks for having me.

I have a 1988 4Runner that I've had for about 10 years now. Here are my questions:

    1. It has electrical issues, mostly with the back window switch although it appears to be working again now after my dad took a look at it. Haven't been able to pinpoint the origin. Suspect it has to do with an alarm/door lock actuator installation done a few years ago because I never had issues prior to that. Electrical should most likely just be replaced.

    2. If I were to sell it, is it worth spending the $ to diagnose/repair electrical before selling? Would you imagine the higher amount to sell without issues would offset the cost of having it done?

    3. If I were to sell it, what would you consider a reasonable cost, with or without these repairs?

-Had a complete engine overhaul and new tires shortly before becoming a secondary vehicle. Have barely driven it since. It has sat on non-op 90% of the time since the overhaul.
-Has a power steering rack leak. Power steering pump replaced before going non-op.
    -Issue with 7th fuel injector.
    -Wiper control sticks, currently disconnected.
    -Oil gage doesn't work.
    -Mileage: 221,688
-Clean title. Located in Southern California. No rust. Straight body.
Couple cosmetic things- driver/passenger seats do not slide back/go down all the way. Normal wear and tear for a 35 year old truck.

I welcome any feedback you may have. Thanks!

I'm not expecting a full diagnostic evaluation or repair over the computer;) but looking for anyone who may have had similar issues and can offer an idea of their experiences with it, any part of this.
What more info can I provide to be helpful?
    Thanks!

What does your rear window do or not do? What does your headlight do or not do? Where is your oil leak? The biggest issue is not passing smog.

High mileage with issues in ok looking shape....I wouldn't pay over $2000 but I'm sure someone would. Start high at about $4K and adjust from there.
