Here’s the plan. I fly out, get my out of state hunting license, you put me on a big bull Elk. We quarter it up and pack it in coolers for the trip home?

Let’s see some pics. It will be easier to value. From Oregon is a good start. My pickup came from there and has no rust.

    Looks clean...

If that was on the east coast it would get 6-8k depending on the level of enthusiasts who were interested.

I agree. I'm in Oregon as well. I paid 2k for mine and it's nowhere near as clean as this one. They're not that hard to find around here but finding one that doesn't look like a high school kids welding project is a bit harder.

Very, very interested. Any issues that I should be aware of? Have you settled on a range of what you are looking for $$ wise?

To the OP, did this ever go up for sale? Depending on the price, I may be interested if you still have it.

Just food for thought...there are very few 85 4 Runners...I bought mine from Oregon 8 years ago for $6,500...I've rebuilt everything mechanical and the body is 99.9% rust free...I just got it inspected at a Toyota dealer and a mechanic offered me $16,000 for it and I declined...do a little investigating before you sell...Hagerty insurance who I have on mine just wrote an article on 1985 4 Runners and said prices are rising along with interest in the 85 4 Runners...just trying to help. These 85 4 Runners are very very rare!!!

Ya I traded my 89 CBR Hurricane for the 89 P/U. Then realized it had a blown head-gasket. So got a donor truck that the frame was so bent it wouldnt move. Had a shop swap the motor out. Then had a guy who really new what he was doing, paint it. I got a set of Mickey Thompson deep dish rims with 33’s.
Once I saw the T4R was up for sale I fell in love. Sold the P/U that same day......
