I have the Full-Time 4WD System w/A-TRAC & Locking Center Diff, took a peek underneath and noticed a drop of oil underneath and was wondering what part and if this leak should be promptly fixed.

Output shaft seal. It’s pretty common issue. They should fix it under warranty.

Had the same leak on my 97’ Tacoma with around 50k miles. Dealership fixed it no problem.

You bet, if I were you, I wouldn’t clean off the drip. Leave it so the service department can see, which will legitimize your claim.

Not to say you don’t have a legitimate claim, you do.

Don’t clean it off, like the other user said, and most service advisors have a company cell phone so I would text them all the pictures you have.

Thats exactly what I did when my Sequoia developed the infamous cam tower oil leaks. Thank god I noticed it and it was covered under warranty.
