I just purchased some aftermarket rims for my 4 Runner SR5 they are 17x8 instead of 17x7.5. I’ve got factory sized Bridgestone Blizzaks mounted on them. Am I going to have a problem with the tires rubbing the inside of the wheel well when I make a turn or should it be ok? Are there any issues with the increase rim width?

The extra half inch width of the rim wouldn’t necessarily be a problem, but: What is the wheel offset, and what size tires?

The fenders might require a slight trim. If you were planning on an AT tire with large lugs I’d say probably.

For what it's worth, I went with 265/70R17 Toyo OC AT3 on 17x8.5 0mm offset and there's no rubbing at all. My stock wheels were +15mm offset (TRD ORP).
