Im planning to get a new set of wheels for my 18 Trd Orp. Cant decide between 17x8.5 -25 or 17x9-12. I just want a slight aggressive stance. I have a dobinsons ims suspension 3 front 2 rear. i'll be running 285/70/17 for my rubber. Dont mind doing bmc and viper cut.

I run -25 and its just a bit too much even with a 265/70/17 and an Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2 kit. Was able to get the camber adjusted out enough it finally stopped rubbing in reverse. Most OEM wheels are +5 to 0, so even a -12 is more than enough to pull the wheels out to the edge of the fenders.

So the 17x8.5 -25 will be more agressive than 17x9.-12? I just a lil bit of poke.

I've been debating width and offsets for so long, I'm at analysis paralysis and haven't ordered a set, still stuck with my OEM TRD wheels, haha!

I recently found this online calculator that's very helpful... "willtheyfit.com" - so you can visually see what, if any, clearance issues you'd have and how much poke each setup would provide.

For example, I quickly plugged in the numbers you proposed and the 17x9 -12 would be 6.6mm LESS poke but 19.4mm closer to your UCA...

Look good. Any front shot? Got a little poke already. I was looking at RRW r6h or 7h. But the -12 sold out already but a few -25. I like the summit wheels too. Thats where the 17x9-12 from.

This is a 17x9 -25 w/ 265/70/17. Has a nice stance to it IMO but nothing obnoxious.
