These are heavier tires and I was wondering if the 116t load index baja boss are suitable for moderate offroading. They are a SL load. Max psi is 44 lbs and load index is 2756.

I went with the Baja Boss A/T LT’s for a number of reasons:

    Baja Boss A/T’s LT’s
    - Stronger 3-ply sidewalls.
    - 3 Peak winter rated
    - More siping
    - Side grabbers
    - Aggresive stance/look
    - 50k warranty

I was looking at various tires and in doing all my research this tire seemed to best suit my needs.

It is a heavy tire and the 3-ply sidewalls make it stiffer than my former KO2’s but these were reasonable trade offs.

I’ve got about 500 miles on the tires and after dropping the psi to 35lbs I’m super happy.

    running 285/70/17’s - went from 18.3mpg to 17.4mpg.
