Looking to put some Falken Wildpeaks on my wifes 5th Gen Off-Road. I was leaning towards the 115Ts just because she won't be doing any towing or off-roading (mainly just drives the kids around) but wondering if I will want the heavier tire. Any input? Anyone running the 4ply and liking them or wishing you had a beefier tire? Looking at 265/70/17 or 275/70/17 then adding a leveling kit. Thanks!

If you are worried about how heavy the tire is and 4ply rated main tread strength have you consider less heavy yet 6ply rated main tread tires that also has severe winter rating / 3PMSF, more tread depth, taller diameter? :D

If you're not going to be off-roading, you definitely don't want or need heavy LT tires. Stick to an SL tires. Aside from better ride quality and fuel economy, SL tires sometimes have more siping than their LT counterpart, which improves traction.

I had some P-rated Firestone Destination AT's. They were fantastic. Mostly highway driving but definitely some offroad adventures a few times a year.

    I'm currently running some C-rated BFG KO2's.

I wouldn't hesitate one bit to get the P-rated Falkens. Could be my next tire.
