115 Volt AC Takeoff

    Hello all,
    I have a 2004 model 4 runner and I just checked for the output voltage. After I activated the AC switch on my dash, i used my multimeter and only got 94 volts AC at the AC output inside the center console.
    Is there a way to use my multimeter at the alternator to check the AC output? I do not know which terminals to place the leads. Or do I place the leads on another device?

    Alternator is not going to output 115VAC.

    Need to find the inverter.

    Thanks, So can anyone tell me where it is at? I have a V6 engine 2004 limited model if that helps.
