I have FN’s konig countersteer type x on my Limited. I have been having issues with highway speeds since I installed them 3 weeks ago. The steering wheel vibrates once I hit 60mph.

I went back to the dealer for balancing. The issue went away for a week or so. Afterwards, I took the highway the steering wheel started shaking again. Also, I noticed that my 4runner started pulling a little bit to the right when I brake.
    Any suggestions? Any similar experiences?

Sounds like maybe a balancing issue? Make sure the wheels are hub centric and you have the correct lug nuts.

Take your 4Runner to a tire place that has a Road Force tire balancer. In my city, Discount Tire has them. Most people believe these do a better job at balancing.

As far as pulling when you brake, that could be more related to alignment, brakes or uneven tire pressure.

It probably has nothing to do with the offset of the wheel.

My steering wheel also shakes(pretty good) at 60 mph. Goes away at 70mph. But I think my problem is my beat old cooper tires im running. I had them road force balanced and like you stated in helps for a few days. I'm purchasing tires in a few weeks, in which im going to have my local offroad shop road force balance, plus alignment and I want them to go over the front end. Im also buying a tire that has great balancing reviews.

    What tires do you have?

Michelin defender ltx m/s …. These are my summer tires. Yes the wheel is hub centric, and the bolts were provided by the wheel manufacturer.

I already balanced them using road force tire balancer thats why its weird. I am going on a roadtrip before going to the shop. Ill see what happens.
