    Greetings,

I have a 2013 4Runner SR5 (No KDSS). Looking at Rock Sliders, Cali Raised LED's 14-21 Runner sliders will not fit my model according to their rep.

That said, anyone know what the difference is? Are there any common bolt-on points and some specific ones that do not line up? I am in the DFW area and trying to find some used sliders, but afraid to pull the trigger on any that are listed as 14-21. Any experiences would be much appreciated.

I think the issue is that the 10 to 13 SR5 has the same lower body cladding that the limited has. If you look at a 14 + SR5, or a 10-13 trail Edition, it doesn't have that lower body cladding. Here's a shot of my 13 Trail Edition with a set of RSG sliders with the stock20200531_193000.jpg plain black rocker trim. I believe I saw a thread on here somewhere a while back where somebody with a earlier Limited had removed the cladding and just put on the plain black trim.

Ok cool that makes perfect sense. Finding the plain black trim will need to be the next focjs point. Thanks for your help!

I've seen more than one Youtube videos showing removal of that rocker panel for installing steps or sliders. A YT search should get you what you want, with links for parts.
