      I've been agonizing about upgrading to a GX myself. There is one upstate that fits the bill right now. If you don't mind me asking, would you do it again? I've lived out West so the mountains and altitude are understood.

        I would do it again. Second and Third row climate was huge for us since this is our road trip rig. You gain the buttery smooth V8 and a 6th gear. My mileage has gone up by about 1mpg from the 4Runner and that is after the GX got an Icon Stage 3 lift. The biggest downfall for me is the rear door instead of a hatch and not having rear roll down glass; I loved that feature! But I would do it again, for sure.
