I heard there might be an option for a V8 with the new 4runner, does anyone know the details? The other upgrades are amazing. I also need a release date because I really can't wait

Thats what I thought. The new 2020's will be awsome, I like the FJ roof racks option and all the new electronics. Can I get all blacked out badges as an option?

It’s the exact same as the 2019 with some minor electronic upgrades. The current model already has blacked out badges

I think your getting a bit to hyped over almost zero changes mate. Its all but the same as a 2010 model. If it does come with some of the drift assist stuff, I'd have all of that turned off. Just me..
Android auto, and apple car play suck. Had it for a year in my 2018 via aftermarket HU and I used it once, and i stopped. Just bluetooth streaming works way better for me. And, I also think that FJ rack is hideous. Again, just my opinion Not even gonna think, bring up, or discuss a v8 option. That's just silliness.

Oh you can get one with a V8 by paying over $52K and visiting your local Lexus dealer....Look for the GX460 section.

I don’t know if I will be jumping up to a 2020 Pro. I don’t like all the safety bells and whistles there adding in the 2020.

It is ludicrous that Toyota wants $51k for the 2020 trd pro and $41k for the SR5 Premium.

I don't know; however, the Supra at the dealer had me intrigued with the thought of its inline 6 turbo with 335 horses and 385 ft lbs torque.

Especially when the Lexus GX460 with the V8 starts at $52K.

I bet it’s a different engine in the TRD? They are introducing titanium parts like valves and lifters....

That’s pretty much what the 19 Pros are going for. I mentioned in this post I don’t like the safety bells and whistles. Also I don’t like the roof rack. Yeah I could sell it. I would rather the JBL system audio in my Pro. But that does not justify for me to trade my 17 Pro in with 11,000 miles on it. If I wait till fall I will probably get 41,000 and new one would be 49,000 I can put a way better audio system in my 17 Pro for less than 8000 difference. No big deal for the push start and apple play. I have XM and my music on my phone to play thru my system. I think I will be keeping my Pro the way it looks.
