Installed a supercharger with a freind. Seems to work well. Definitely see the power difference.

Only issue is when I drive on the highway especially when I am pressing the gas constantly there is no smell, everything is good. When I let go of the gas a smell comes from the front. Its kind of hard to describe. A little like a SC oil mixed with something. But only when I let go of the gas. Any ideas?

My buddy has a super charged Cobalt and it stinks like rotten eggs when you let off the throttle. He said it's because his cat is bad. Only experience I've had with a stinky supercharger.

Did you install an actual crank driven supercharger, or one of those belt driven turbo hacked things? When you say supercharger oil it makes me think the latter.

It's a trd 1st Gen Toyota supercharger. It's belt driven.

No I don't even smell it at all when driving under 55-60.
