Should I do a write? Or just show a video?
    Power liftgate added a foot sensor.Toyota 4Runner Wiring V4.2.1.jpg Screenshot_20190620-051110_Chrome.jpg

The parts needed to install with foot sensor
    20190704_062305.jpg

The rear lift gate cover removal. Just pull and remove the 2 light plugs.

    20190704_063214.jpg
    20190704_063156.jpg

Remove clips with a screw driver and pry.
Now be ready to hold the lift gate when u remove the shock.

    20190704_063453.jpg

Remove the original ball stud on SUV NOT the liftgate. Use the supplied ball stud and washer to replace the OEM one.

    20190704_065000.jpg
    20190704_065019.jpg

Remove top grommet. Now u will need to use some sort of fish wire to pull all the wires through IE: power strut wire, power wire from driver side kick panel and the switch power.

    20190704_065621.jpg

Removing the center console to install the rear hatch release. (Note: I put it here because I had space and thought it would look nice because the rear window control is there. But if you heated seats control is there you will need to go on the left hand side of steering wheel.)
To remove the center console remover the shift knob. Then lift straight up.

    Routing wires to the seats.

Routing wires in the hatch. If you get the foot sensor I cut the green wire to the length and tap in to it later.
Going to install foot sensor later. So added the wire so I didn't have to refish.

    Both

Also Cartrimhome (same place that sells cheap Chinese TRD Pro grille) is now selling the same one but minus the foot sensor for $480 & free shipping. If you look closely at the pictures, both of them have the same ECU and other parts.

No problem. Been wanting on this option. Maybe I'll do it Thursday if it ever clears customs.

Ok guys this is the setup with the key fob and you can use the rear button. What I'm having trouble with is I don't know which wire is the main unlock for the main switch on the liftgate. That's my issue I'm having to get the switch inside on the center console to work. I haven't gotten the foot sensor hookup either. I'm beat from this portion of the install. But I will tackle it another day and take more photos of the finished work.

Great job on the install, it's a nice mod for our 4runners. Noticed you have a rear cam, how did you mount it to the headliner, velcro? I have a Viofo and it mounts with 3m tape but I don't think it will stick to the cloth liner.

No it doesn't. I made a bracket out of aluminum. Bent it to go under the headliner. Then trimmed the headliner for it. Then drilled a hole in the bracket to accept the little plug that holds the headliner up. Used 3m tape and bam done.

Can you imagine some of these options installed at port ? I'd take the folding mirrors, autostart and liftgate package :)

No problem man hope it helps. I like it this way. So when you put the window down people see the camera and act a little different.

I "finished" the installation, using vendor and blog suggestions. All "Blinking 15 times" lights show a good install -- but doesn't respond. It seems to struggle on unlocking, and then "stutter" on trying to close/lock the hatch. I see a step in your instructions to remove power lock latch, but that is not in earlier instructions????
    Thanks for your help.

Yes you replace the the OEM with the one that comes with the kit. And the locking cover doesn't go back on either.
