Well after almost twenty three years I’m getting a miss at low RPM’s. Plugs are over due so decided to do a tune up.
    3 Toyota coils OEM
3 Toyota spark plug wires OEM
    6 Denso plugs OEM
Up and downstream Denso O2’s OEM
All for about $430. I have my last emissions test in August. And this SUV has been so good to me....

I did notice ten years ago when I did plugs one wire coil connector broke and I had to zip tie it. It was getting brittle then...

    I found my miss!!!
Don’t use Bosch plugs with the four electrodes. All of them broke off of this plug.....5E4BD877-C634-4EEA-BB55-57480B3A4E36.jpg

On my third set of plugs... Always use Denso!!!
Ready for emissions it runs like brand new.

Yep...we used to just blow those things out with the air compressor. Jiffy Lube dude always brought that thing to me on the first car I ever owned and tried to get me to replace it every time..haha

Just replaced PVC valve, grommet, and hose. It’s never been done. Original is clean but the hose was starting to swell/split....
