What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

I would set a day aside, but will only need two hours. No real skill needed. Just take it slow when unwrapping the harness.

The no-drill full length Prinsu finished! SUPER easy install other than having to make up for my screw up written up in post #4780. I have the grommets on the way for ones I lost for the dual load bars. I have my Prinsu cargo basket but it’s still painted quicksand from when it was on my taco. What I have on hand to load it down with: ARB 2500 awning and room, roadshower 4, rotopax fuel and water, black TRED 800 traction boards, and Plano rifle case.

Ordered back during the TRD sale. I think it was McGeorge out of Va. Ordered the individual parts.

 

It has been a busy week! I installed king suspension with SCS stealth 6 wheels and BFG 285/70R17 as well as a prinsu rack. So excited to get this thing out in the mountains!

 

Brought mine home! Let the mods begin!

No offense, but what does "sports" have to do with mods on a 4runner? Who cares about grown men getting paid millions to play a game that has zero effect on the state of affairs of the world!

Pretty sure the act of doing mods to our 4Runners has zero affect on the state of affairs of the world either. Which is exactly why I really enjoy and appreciate this site and everyone involved. It offers a genuine escape from reality and is actually bringing people together. Where else are you going to find so many people from different backgrounds celebrating each other? So if you're having a bad day logon on to here or go draw a smiley face in the dust on the back window of your rig....not on the paint though...never on the paint!

Took Big Awesome down to Long Beach Island, NJ this weekend. Got a lot of fishing in and landed a 30" and a 24" bluefish that i put on the grill and smoker the next day. Love the big 4runner plastic mat in the back. just took it out and hosed it off, back to normal.

 

hahaha i know! i figured id pile on with a non 4runner post. heyyy i mentioned that i drove it somewhere haha

I got the Black with TRD and the shift pattern for the 4x4

 

I emailed them/him months ago and never got a reply. Twice. After that decided to spend the money elsewhere. The older I get the more bad customer service straight pisses me off. But they are some nice shifter handles and glad you got yours. May go for a stock FJ shifter instead since that shifter kind of resembles the transfer case shifter

Yeah good ideas! Wish we had the means to do some of this stuff. If I had a cnc machine it would be on!

Wow I had a totally different experience. I emailed and asked him a question and he responded rather quickly. He also told me he was sold out but would be making another batch soon and sent me a link to his website that had a email as soon as available box. I did that and a couple of days later I got the email and purchased mine.
I agree as a old fart myself bad service is unacceptable.
