302 missfire. 98 4runnet 5z engine.. 275k .. just replaced wires, all three coils, plugs, both o2 sensors, maf, tps and 6 new fuel injectors!! We have had this truck for 20 years and would like to keep for another 20!! After replacing all of the above this weekend.. runs awesome for ten-15 minutes then the s$$t hits the fan.. flashing cel missfire cylinder 2..let it cool down and it the cycle continues.. at my wit's end.. what does the ECU do after running for 10-15 minutes?

sound stupid but I had a similar problem. it wasn't the injector but the seals them self. after the runner warmed up it tends to gap and then my truck would misfire. in the end I had to keep trying to replace them with thicker ones and used some vaseline to get them to seat properly. it took me 4 times to get it to go away.

Thanks for the advice.. I will put that on the possibility list.. man it really sounds like a ECU issue cause it's like clockwork.. runs awesome for 10-15 minutes then it gets crazy shaking and missfire.. before i did anything it was cylinder#3.. now after I changed all of the above it's not 3 anymore..now it's#2.. frustrating..

yeah when you put your fuel rail back on after replacing the last injector, the other one could have not seated properly. if you start your runner have it run till it misses again turn it off wait like 2 minutes and start it again. if it misses right off tha bat I think that's your problem. it is possible that you got a bad injector too that dose happen more it should.
