Completely forgot my CBI ditch light brackets were coming in today.
I’m a little disappointed they didn’t send me any stickers. I was hoping to have another for the toolbox and from the only install video I could find it mentioned installing them with supplied hardware.... I didn’t get any hardware... so. Anyone else have experience with them? :notsure:

    Installed ditch light brackets.
I’m having issues deciding on a good set of lights. So I’ve ordered some cheap Amazon lights for now.

Out with the old and shisty skids!
New and shiny! For now anyway...
I may eventually make my own mid skid to cover the trans but for now this will be more than enough.

Recently I installed my CBI ditch light brackets and noticed the install video mentioned supplied hardware. So I pm’d CBI Offroad Fab on TW. They contacted me back and said they would send me the hardware and a couple stickers. Well that was Tuesday and it’s now Thursday and guess what I got?!
Not just the hardware and a couple stickers. There were 4 Stickers and 2 patches plus the hardware now that’s awesome! It’s all about the little things!

I’ve been a little sidetracked lately but finally getting around to updating the build. Installed pods on the ditch light brackets. They’ve been on for a couple weeks now and are great at night on the back roads.
Today I was actually able to get off on time so I pulled out the jack and installed the wheel spacers I ordered. They are 1.25”.

4Runner or Tacoma. Tires are mounted and bead balanced!

The local tire shops want to charge 40-60 per tire for mounting and bead balance. I decided it would be more fun and cheaper to do it myself. The beads cost 58 off Amazon and the tools cost around 30. Took me about 45 min on the first tire I finished the rest in an hour.

So I did a thing and now I’m unsure. Give me your opinions.

Definitely want spacers I think that will help a lot and maybe paint, I’m not sure on that. I’ve had black wheels on the truck for 5 years so maybe it’s just a shock to my system lol.

Yea I like the steelies as well. I’m going to do the tundra brake upgrade which means I can’t use mine since 15” wheels won’t fit over the calipers and the OR wheels were cheaper than a set of 17” steelies.

Newest pictures while on vacation. Mounted the 5th gen. wheels. I had to remove the front mud flaps for clearance.
