I bought this 4runner from my father in law that has 174K miles on it, and it having an issue where it doesn't want start in the morning but it will turn over. It will start when the temperature warms up outside and will even drive, but after driving for a while the vehicle will start hesitating when your trying to accelerate and then eventually die and wont start again.
It spit a P1300 code which came back as an issue with the Ignition Control Module. I found a used on online that I bought (because a brand new one is $350 bucks) and it worked great for about 2 days and then the same problem returned.
before I bought it my father in law had the timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, transmission fluid changed on it. I'm kind of at a loss here, any ideas?
