Am I missing something?

It has been almost a month (3/9/19) since we purchased our new T4R.
We absolutely love the truck. We are having problems with the dealership.

After researching this truck after getting it I came to realize the salesman (#1 @ the dealership) deceived us, was ignorant about the vehicle and lied to us! They are now holding the DMV paperwork to plate it & the money for the plates! Even if I wanted to I couldn't plate it yet!
Rant over.

Now, my question. Our truck came with optional equipment package 2t "all weather floor liners/ cargo tray"
Does this mean we should have the rear sliding cargo tray or is that worded differently? I have no faith in asking the dealership. Here is a picture of the window sticker.

I went onto Toyota's website and looked at packages.
I just want the below tray storage but am unsure if it would work with the dog cage...

I am learning every facet of this vehicle.
I had a lot of knowledge about this vehicle before purchase.
However after being lied to by the salesman I had to do more research.
The entire dealership is lying to us.
If I didn't inquire I would be silly!

We knew we wanted a T4R. We just didn't know everything about them...
Nor did the salesman! LMAO

Honestly it still doesn't make since how on Toyota.com you can get a sunroof for $100 but my invoice says I paid $850. More fuckery... Pics above.

 

The "Keep It Wild Savings" listed online is counted against that $850. So take that, subtract the $750 "Keep it Wild", and you get $100.

 

Personally sounds like you got what was ordered without more details.

 

That is not the way it reads on the window sticker.
I can see your logic & that maybe how the website is calculating it... I showed the GM of the dealership the online build guide & he was lost!

Also, the details are everything! This is my wife's new daily & if she cannot use or know how to use it... They make an AWD Prius now! Enjoy.
They got us our money & form for the DMV.
The GM gave me a voucher for hidden features as that was an issue for me. Asking me to pay $62.50 for window down function the day after buying the truck, (not the best way to start. Now I have a voucher for free setting adjustments)!
The salesman was still deficient in his knowledge of the truck (I had to look to see if it has KDDS while I am pretty sure that would have been on the sticker). He told me the locker was for being "towed" I didn't question it because I knew he was wrong & what a locker is & it's use. I just played the ignorant consumer & got ridiculous answers!

We are getting a new buyers survey for our problems as our views have now changed.
I didn't want to be a dick & don't think I was, yet the GM's face was red & he was sweating like crazy. Sorry dude, someone fucked up & it wasn't us...

I built what you have using a Nebraska zip. You have 10x the options we have here in Hawaii.

If you try to pick the -$400 it only lets you if you pick red for some reason. Everything else on the build works out.

It clearly shows the keep it while saving when adding the moonroof.

Yeah, the website is off. The GM admitted that also. He said "that is all corporate & we cannot change window stickers as that is a federal felony" blah blah blah
Just get online pricing to "try" & match invoice pricing. Is that so hard for corporate Toyota?

I never complained about sticker price or our sales price (below sticker).
I simply said "If you build a truck on the website it should cost the same as if you were too buy the exact one off the lot.
Maybe a little more if you add stuff but that isn't the same then...

 

if you like the truck and are happy with the price, forget about it. find another dealer to do your services

 

So you get below sticker and still bitch about the website compared to sticker? I am even more confused on the point of this. Not to mention straight out accusing the dealership of deceiving you. I'm pretty sure the dealer doesn't print out the sticker. The sticker comes with the vehicle from the factory?

Maybe it came from another area?

Try build one using a Hawaii zip code and the options are no where near what you guys get. And if you talk like you post no wonder the dealership was confused all around the bulls ass and still not to the point.

Well there is hope for some dealerships, We just bought a 4runner and the dealer had a hard time getting the regional(apparently) XP badges that the wife wanted on the 4r but they found them. They also didn't bat an eye when I asked for the window role down feature and the driver door key window up/down feature to be turned on (no cost). On top of that they gave me another full tank of gas for my inconvenience. Hope you find a better dealer we have 2 fairly locally and one sucks but the other seem to be pretty good so far.

 

I wanted the automatic door locking turned off after I bought mine and the dealer also didn't bat an eye at telling me to come in and they turned if off for nothing. Literally took the tech 4 minutes scam trying to charge people. These dealerships just don't get it!
