Creating this thread to record the evolution of my 4R now that is out of the 36k factory warranty.

Here are some stock images for the baseline.

Sorry Hobo, May be a while on the wheels. Strained my calf last night while refereeing an adult rec game. May be out for a bit which means no fun for wheels.
    :annoyed:

On Backslider's thread you asked for votes on wheels or sliders first. I put up a reply before realizing I could do it here, so I deleted it. Here's my 2cents.
Sliders first. Only because I think they will set visual cues for a choice of wheel - it's possible once mounted you might change your mind about the style. The Overlands are a really nice looking wheel.
    Hope your evolution goes well.
    Cheers!

I agree with @Firstoneman , sliders first....you already have the best stock wheels for offroading

Almost have the money saved up. Don’t know what the deal is around here, but all of a sudden there are 4R TRD Off roads everywhere here. I passed two that looked just like mine in a quarter mile last weekend. Hardly saw others for the first three years I had it.

Agree with the notion of the sliders first but will still look like the others that are all over the place here. Tires would set me apart faster. In a bit of torture.

Is there a practical advantage of spacer + wheel versus just getting the wheel with offset & backspacing on its own? My thought was that I can remove spacers at any time if want to. With wheel you’re stuck with what it is.

I've got a set of 5 (1 with a brand new tire on it) if you're in the market. There's a post out there somewhere
