I have a 96 4runner that will eventually need some engine work. I was wanting to find a replacement to rebuild and swap while I fix the original. Anyone know how to make sure I get the right engine? A guide to find the right numbers? Kind of new with these engines.

Just don't want to but the wrong thing.
