O2 sensor in 2002

    I changed some lights, tires and tinted windows...mind blowing huh
    so my kid has a check engine light and VSC TRAC lights in his dash. He had it checked out and was told it was the O2 sensor 1 bank 1. He was then quoted $650 for the repair. If I can get with him we can do the repair ourselves but how much are you guys paying for the part, I think his quote was something stupid like $450 just for the part. :mad:

    it looks like it has to be the air ratio/o2 sensor...of course it does i found one locally for about $190 so it looks like a could hour or so in the garage for me tomorrow.

    Shouldn’t be to bad if it’s like the 1st gen Tacoma the connection is under the passenger seat.
