    I got this bar from ebay, it's "24,000" lumens and 60/30 flood/spot combo. 240W.

I made the brackets from angle at home depot and used draw bolts in the stock rails and trimmed the caps to fit.

The angle, if extended straight from the rack, was too narrow for the bar. So I used some flat stock to widen the space between the brackets:

Here's a fifth grade looking drawing i made:

red dot is where the bar will mount

Bar will mount through the side in the holes that are already tapped

Confused as to how you mounted the angle iron to the rack though. Curious if you have any pics?

Yeah, i'll take some tomorrow, but I used "draw bolts" from home depot. I JB welded basically a rectangular nut to the head of the botl, slipped it in place and left the shank sticking out.

So, ditch one of the little rectangles and JB weld the other in place, then take off the caps and slide that down the track in the rack rails to where you want it.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Might improvise a bit if I find something that'll suit the needs. My other issue was removing the end caps. Mine won't pop off lol

I was wondering if I could get some close up pictures of the mount and screws mountings and would this work for a curved bar? Thanks in advance.

Does the light bar hit/rub the roof while in motion?

I like what you did and I plan on doing something similar. Additional photos would be appreciated.

Could you use small L brackets to mount to roof rack?
