I'm debating on throwing a set of these on in place of the OE TRDP badges on my rig.. They just look really good, but I'm not sure about it. Talk me into or out of it..

Nah man, it's an emblem for a Tacoma and personal opinion kind of an ugly one.

Copy that. Sometimes when I am 8 fingers deep into a bottle of rum, I get some fascinating ideas... This apparently was not one of them.

Maybe one on the inside?- does the pro lettering match your inferno or is it red?

It's actually really close to the inferno color. Maybe a touch more red.

I like the Taco TRD Pro badge but agree it needs to be on a Taco. Agree with another to dress up the engine bay with it.

Ha ha. My engine bay stays covered in mud from top to bottom. I clean off the radiator and alternator from time to time, and spray down everything else when it gets really caked on. Other than that, it would just be a waste under the bonnet.

Love your Inferno. There is one for sale at a dealership with 30,000+ miles and I tried to get the Mrs to bite but she would not. She wants the Cement but the dealership is getting greedy with a $48k price tag.

It is a color that has grown on me over the years. At the time it was one of the first to hit the shores of the US, and I had to have it. I really wanted silver, but in 2015, it wasn't offered. I ended up getting it for a little less than $42K iirc. I could not believe the deal at the time, but I don't think most dealers saw them as anything more than just another TRD model.

The Taco TRD Pro badge is about 9083483748374837xs to big. Looks ugly as hell even on the Taco.

I haven't bought one yet. The size is really close to the same dimensions as the TRD Pro badge on the side of the 4runner, actually it is a bit shorter, so it isn't too big by any stretch. I'm just going to forego the purchase.

While you’re at it, add a cobra emblem on the front quarter panels too.......

I think its more that this is a big solid black piece that is raised. The 4Runner one is just the letters.

It's not like it isn't a TRD Pro. Besides, I have this to do that to.

I actually just sold it. I'm looking for another one though. The black was just a PITA! Going for another white or silver/gray color this time around. I was making 792hp to the wheels on a dynojet. It was fun.
