I’m looking at wheels for my 2006 Sport, it currently has 17” with 265/70/17s, can I use any year 4Runner wheel? I like the black TRDs (and some other stock wheels), but I think the offset is 15 compared to 30 for a stock 4th gen - any issues with the wheel sticking out .6” more than stock?

You should be good with the TRDs et Al... even FJ wheels can work... shouldn't be an issue if you're only upsizing one size. Worse case is you can heat up your wheel liner with a heat gun and massage more clearance. I did a body chop for slight rubbing with my '13 Trail Edition wheels holding on to 255/80/17 (skinny 33s)...

Ive got the black TRD wheels (OEM) with 265/65/17's with no rubbing issues. When these tires are toast im going to move up to the 265/70/17's and still don't expect any rubbing. To answer your specific issues, no issues with the more negative offset compared to stock.
