just an FYI, assuming they came on your 4runner when new, they are OEM "rock rails" (sliders), versus what many refer to as the "trail running boards". I have them on mine. They are not hardcore protection, but for their intended purpose, they are light-years beyond running boards, and they look great on the 4R. $200 is a smoking good deal.

They were part of a package I think called offroad package and were called trail rails in the description. I took them off at about 6000 miles.

There are 2 kinds from Toyota that looked similar. Rock Rails and Trail Rails. The rock rails mount to the frame and trail rails mount to the body.

Mine originally came with the Trail Rails as well. I replaced with predator steps right after I got it because the wife wanted a step, and then replaced those with real sliders this past week.

Good luck w the sale, neighbor!

I’m sorry , assuming that’s accurate I’m not as smart as I thought I was. I have OEM “rock rails” which look identical to the ones listed …. But mine are frame mounted. I’ll shut up now

Yeah these mount to the body and provide some limited protection, but not like rock rails do. I changed them to steps so my 87 year old friend could get in and out easier when I tote him to church or a Dr. appointment.

Thanks neighbor. Y’all’s traffic in The Woodlands is a mess. Our’s up here on Lake Conroe is getting bad too. So many stupid drivers. Stay safe.

I too have the frame mounted "rock rails". They do not work as a step so I have a folding step stool that I set up for a step when needed for my older sister.
I like that my rock rails do not hit my legs getting in or out
