Finally had a nice Saturday and put my Auxbeam switch panel together. It's not bad, but def labor intensive if you're staring from the side of pulling wires. Fits perfect in my OEPanel and got some blanks from Meso.

I need to redo some of the wires again (as in re-route). But for now, it'll do.

I’m sure some of y’all are still rinsing off salt but it’s pollen season in AL. Had to give the 4R a quick spray tonight to get rid of the lemon pepper look

Installed some RCI rock sliders about a month ago. Just now getting around to posting some photos. I went with the 5 degree sliders with kick-outs and top tread plates. Powder coated in satin black.

Drove my 4R on its maiden road trip, 270 miles. Yeah, not as much as some people here but it’s a lot for my new 4R

Drove well, I wish the seats were a little longer. But otherwise all good.

Quick Question, if I may. I did the same install recently but have one question, where (or what fuse exactly) did you tap into for the red wire that powers on the auxbeam switch panel? Cant seem to get mine to stay powered or come on with the ignition. Thanks

You weren't asking me but my switches are powered like this.....this add a fuse here triggers a relay which in turn powers my switches to trigger other relays or power small accesories.

not everyone's thing but made my own grille lights that I think added a diff touch and some functionality. used the VLEDs mini pod lights in amber and YotaLED front camera brackets for the PRO Grille to make a more stealth eagle eye effect. they are pretty bright too

Was having issues closing hood with my rigid/baja rock light I used there by the latch

ended up wiring a deutsch connector/long pig tail in engine bay n rear of vehicle

Wired up the 3 rock lights(white/amber/red) individually with their own deutsch harnesses(~10’) n put magnets on the back

now I can plug them in n use them for engine bay, undercarriage, or just scene lights

    gotta love vision

    side note:
Somehow I still ONLY work in the dark at 2:18am

Nice! Yeah I did same as well, have some KC cyclones and a Deutsch extension harness I keep in the back I can plug into this DT connector in the engine bay (circled in orange) for some portable magnet lighting. And I hear ya, I work on the truck at night and early in the morning when I wake up and it's always dark out20250228_155224.jpg

So, one day after install of bumper and winch, I notice fluid dripping from under front of car dripping in several locations and looks like it’s all over. It looks like both OEM shocks are leaking. Took it to local Toyota dealer today and yes the shocks are both leaking. But because I have oversize tires with spacers and a lift they say they are not covered under warranty.
Could the added weight of the steel bumper and winch have caused the seals to blow out or just coincidence that it was day after install?

Dealer quoted $3600 for replacement but will not warranty they new shocks unless I remove lift and replace tires without spacers

what lift do you have, spacers?

sounds plausible since stock suspension is not meant to carry all that weight.

you can replace and upgrade to coil overs that provide lift and support your need for much less and do better than OEM. If you replace the OEM for OEM you may get the same problem again
