This'll be the beginning of (hopefully) a long term build. I have a truck buying problem, but this is 4R so you know it'll be good. I literally bought this truck from it's original owner like a week ago lol. The truck is currently stock, however I'm putting everything that I can from my 1st gen Tacoma onto it, so she'll be sitting pretty soon.

    How I bought it:
    1 owner
    300k miles
Brand new radiator, hoses, timing belt, water pump
Dirtiest truck I've ever bought lol but she cleans up real nice
    EDIT: THE SUNROOF FUNCTIONS PERFECTLYYYY

I bought this truck from a friend of a friend for $2,800. It's a NV/AZ truck, with zero rust. I figure that if the po cleaned it how we did he could've gotten at least $6k for it in AZ's market. I plan on keeping the build relatively simple and reliable, as it's my daily (I said that with my last truck, and now its turbo K-swapped, bagged and bodied, on 20in Boyd's lmaoo). I'd like to make this build thread as detailed as possible with individual threads to every major thing I do to it. Since I've bought it I've also found lots of things I wish I had when I had my Taco. This will also be a slower paced build as I am living in AF dorms and am saving up for a house, and an engagement ring ;)

Also, sorry for the pics in advance, I'm in NC and my dad, in AZ, isn't the greatest photographer lol love you dad

Thanks for sticking with me - Nate

Wow, amazing to see how well that engine compartment cleaned up after you hosed it down.

A very clean 300K’er! Sure there are some dings, chips n cracks here and there but nothing that’s not swappable/repairable on a modest budget.

And something good about cloth seats, they look to be in decent condition compared to what happens to leather around that age!

Hate to say it but your thread title says it’s a Limited but you’re missing the appropriate badge on the rear hatch as it says “SR5”…the door trim pieces are also absent. Check the left side of the steering column, doesn’t have a switch that looks like this?

If the mechanicals are in good shape you’ll have quite a few miles before the engine needs some TLC (minor rebuild).

It does have the Diff lock, it might just be an SR5 with a package. I'm still figuring things out about this truck, and it doesn't help that it's sitting in Arizona and I'm in NC lol. I'll dig a bit deeper and see what I can find!
