What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

I mean, tariffs are a tax on goods coming into the country. I don't know how that doesn't result in higher prices for things coming from outside the country so, bottom line that means higher prices (and inflation). Again, I'm not an economy major but that seems pretty straight forward

gas is higher in my area now and so is pretty much everything else. Waiting for the drop…

 

I have a whole lot to say about all that but i am quite certain it would be deemed political rather than monetary, since it ties into politics and that would get me an involuntary vacation. Henceforth, i'll say, there are certain people who control and manipulate the stock market and they have intentions of tanking it and blaming a certain person. You will certainly see it all unfold soon.

 

Cleaned the underside of both 4Runners after the snow we had.

Ran it through Car wash needed it from last few storms Snow/ice/slush & rain.

Presently doing a remodel and an opportunity to check my vehicle's rear suspension. Picked up 200 lbs of concrete, remembered my tape measure and only saw 1/2" of sag in the rear. This is good news as I'm going to be installing about that much in rear bumper/swing arm...the Eibach Pro Lift springs looks like they'll do the job!

 

I want a rear steel bumper so bad no swing outs though

Well it was a simple fuse. Apparently there are 2 for the low beams and 3 for the highs. I only checked one high beam and not the two separate in front of the seat heater fuse. https://www.startmycar.com/us/toyota/4runner/info/fusebox/2019

Oil change soon!

 

Changed the oil today after our 3 week road trip. Also, vacuumed the dog hair out. What a mess! I replaced my dog eaten radio knobs with AJT knobs.

 

Good work sir, frustrating I bet but it’s fixed.
And, I’ve never seen that fusebox website, it’s a beauty thank-you!

True, it may not have been. But others have been banned for saying the most innocent comment that implied a political leaning.

 

i hear you. In Nov 2024 all I said was, “Thanks T****” and got banned.

 

I am taking it to Daytona Toyota at 8am for a new set of BF Goodrich Trail Terrain T/A’s, rear pads, brake system flush and front end alignment. I get free oil changes for life and I’m about 3k from my normal 10k change so I may ask them to do that as well so I don’t see them until summer or early fall for a rotation.

How did you get free oil changes for life?

 

Just hit 57k and they’ll buff the rotors up to 150k for free. As far as the free oil changes, it’s just a promo the dealership does. Only one I’ve heard of that is better is a guy I met from North Carolina that has an ‘07 FJ and got tires for life from his dealership. I’m he said he just hit 331k on it and it was as pristine as one gets. I was dumb for not taking a pic of it!
