JBA (UCA), Bilstein 5100, OME 880 - Lift advice needed

    I ordered JBA upper control arms for my 3rd gen 4runner and the JBA representative recommended I lift my front end by 2" to optimize the front end alignment. I'm currently running Bilstein 5100 with OME 880 Coil overs at snap ring position #1 (stock). Bilstein 5100 mounting instructions say I can go up to snap ring position #4 for a 2.3" lift however I don't know if that makes sense with an OME 880 Coil. Is anyone running JBA on their truck with Bilstein 5100 and OME 880? Can you tell me what snap ring position/lift height you went with on the Bilstein? How is it working out? Anything to watch out for or do additional while I have my truck apart?

    I wouldn’t worry too much about making it 2” on the nose, the JBAs will work regardless (I’ve got em and like them a lot), you’re probably at about 1.5” with that setup now, just do what looks good for you.

    As far as what to do while you’re in there, change out the lower ball joints if you haven’t already. Additionally, you could press new bushings into the lower control arms, but that will make the job a lot bigger than it currently is.

    Thanks for the advice. I'll leave it as is and see how it feels. Definitely plan on tackling the LCA bushings in the near future.
