Granted, i paid to have the work done, but my sending unit kicked the bucket and I replaced the fuel pump since they were dropping the tank anyways. Just figured why not.

I wish they made manifolds for the 1GR. Mine will have to be custom, but like you said even with low boost, it will help tremendously

Yeah i agree, might as well while youre in there. Dropping the tank isnt exactly the most pleasant experience

Agreed. It also came down to the fact that its my DD. My Fox Mustang currently has its tanked dropped as i'm replacing my sending unit and pump (to put a high flow pump in) and i can allow it to sit unused for weeks at a time. Makes a difference on how you approach things.

Agreed...for me, there's a x3 factor to all things I plan on doing for my thought's allotted time...x1 hour equals x3 hours in reality...annoying! I would purchase another used fuel pump basket complete with sending unit, make your pump swap, make sure all is buttoned up and ready and when you drop your tank, you just re-insert the pump basket in one quick instant and throw it back together...than sell the old one or toss it...me doing this made a lot less stress during the tank drop and re-vamp...it was worth the added $120 for me to do my tundra this way as it's my DD, too.

Yes, the fuel sending unit is a known issue on 4th Gens. may be helpful.

I forgot to post this here! Quick follow up to the initial install. The other day, I cut off the excess brackets and repurposed one so now it is hard mounted to the driver side cylinder head on the back side with a 10mm bolt. Bonus now without all the extra brackets is the tube can be removed from the top side. Test fit went well so now it’s time to paint it black and put it back

Did you notice more bottom/mid/top end power with the cams?

Sounds rowdy for sure. A nice flow through muffler and a resonator would quiet it down a bit and clean up a lot of the rasp while accelerating

It is what confused me. before asking i made my search and there were two different results as i can see here as well. On your pan in the picture the dipstick comes out on the left driver's side. On the diagram it comes on the left side. Same with ebay and various parts websites.
Just dont want to go on $2-300 expense and get wrong part

    Yes, thanks,
You see where my confusion comes from, even on your picture there is right side location. Anyways, ordered one for $120 and pennies, thank you. Do i have to change the strainer as well or the old one would fit?

Old one is fine, but if you've never swapped it out yet, it'd be worth the $20-$50 filter/strainer...you can get the precious Totota WS ATF too off eBay...best prices I've found!

Far easier to make or have made on the v6! I'd replace the rear muffler for a turbo and you wouldn't need an intercooler than...best muffler they make!

Old strainer fits as mentioned, but its a great time to replace it and only like 4 more bolts since youre already in there. I swapped mine with a new 4runner strainer, so no fitment issues either way you go
