Well we finally started getting them in our region and after going in to see one today we are impressed. They really do look better in person. The interior was base but still felt much more modern than the old gens. The fabric seats are really nice and comfortable. The base still has heated seats. We couldn't drive it because it was already sold, but that was ok since we had already driven a Landcruiser. We went ahead and put our order in for the future allotment. It may be a few months to get the color and trim we want but we are in no hurry.

I was told by our local salesman that heated seats are optional in SR5, not standard.

He may be correct but based off every video review I’ve seen and the model we looked at they were all manual seats but they all had heat and power lumbar.

Heated seats (on the SR5) are a Canada thing. According to Toyota's website, SR5 doesn't have the option for heated seats in the U.S.

I was mistaken you are right I had to ask my wife if she remembered if it had heated seats and she said she didn’t think so. I feel I have watched so many reviews lately with heated seats on SR5 that it’s all a wash

Thanks to tight platform sharing, go to a Toyota dealer this summer and you’ll have a wide selection between 4Runners with closed rear cargo space, and “4Runners” with a bed & Tacoma badge.

Both actually good choices I might add, but judging by the amount of ‘24 Tacomas still hanging out today, you can bet that whichever you choose, it should have a decent discount.

As if Toyotas aren’t susceptible to recalls. Im on my 10th Toyota and I’m pretty sure they all had some kind of recall. Still the best brand out there for reliability.

4Runners should be considered reliable until proven guilty. Most of us were fine with dealers bolting superchargers onto 1GR’s, so I wouldn’t be too quick to light fire to a purpose-built factory 2.4 turbo that Toyota is betting the entire house on. When the first ones run up 250k miles, people around here will suddenly post how much they like how it sounds…

How many people here actually paid for the super charger to be installed?

No to worry, I was told that people who finance usually have the cash equivalent of the vehicle in the bank to make mad gains in the stock market. Surely the negative equity will just be paid down with the liquidity with no issues.

/s just in case people take me seriously. People, don't roll negative equity into newer bigger loans.
