If I knew you were Army, I would have known you had already done all the research! Welcome again, and lol on “skipping leg day.” Come back with what you ended up with. I still have tread on my Michelin’s so I have time to decide. I’ve got plenty of room with the lift so maybe I’ll go bigger myself.

On a reply above, I said I would probably go with the Toyo Open Country A/T III 255/55R20, but I’ve changed my mind. On another thread (5th Gen. Forum — “265/60R20 Tires fit”) there was a discussion on using the 265’s on a Limited. I went to tiresize.com and pulled up comparisons of the stock 245/60R20’s with two different sizes: 275/55R20 and 265/60/R20. It’s kind of long because I went into detail on the size differences between the 275’s and the 265’s, but the bottom line was that the 265’s in the Goodyear Adventure A/T with Kevlar were 10.7” wide to the 10.8 inch wide 275’s. The sidewall was .3” larger than the 275 (which means a better and quieter ride) and the diameter of the 265/60R20 was 32.5” — .6” larger than the 275’s. So I have changed my mind and will most likely go with the 265/60R20 Adventures as Goodyear says they fit rims from 7” to 9.5” — and the have that more aggressive look that you mention you were also looking for in your post. I just don’t see the need to go to buy 17” wheels as I’ll get a larger diameter tire with the 265’s that are about the same width as a 275 and will be a better ride on the highway. My off-road driving is on unpaved roads—some maintained better than others—so I don’t need another inch or more of sidewall.

I was able to order Michelin Defender LTX M/S2's in 255/60 R20 from discount tire for my '23 Limited. They were rated for a 7" wide wheel. The factory Bridgestone Dueler HT's were pretty worthless in snow and ice.

Great choice. I have had Michelin Defender LTX M/S for all 140K miles on my 4R (on my third set) and they are great tires. I’d probably stick with them but going to try a little more aggressive look and a larger diameter (my reply above).
