    There are 2 key takeaways:

    1) The sky is falling so now you have to make your own spare parts.

    2) Everybody hates Economics, especially anyone that had to take a class.

Who is buying parts for their 4Runner? Isn't this why we bought our 4Runners?

And why would a shop charge me more on labor because of Tariffs?

Ripple effect longer-term if tariffs stick around and remain as broad as they are. Techs gotta eat too.

Or it could just be held up as a convenient excuse for chains to charge more and see if they get away with it, we’ve seen plenty of that from companies the past few years.

6th gen ORPs are now pushing 60k with destination and unavoidable port installed accessories, and people are still lined up around the block to buy them.

Just stop being poor, some would tell you.

Which 4Runner part is made in China, Mexico or Canada? Because those are the new countries on the tariff list.

Not the 4runner, but aren't tacomas and tundras made in Mexico?

Edit - assembled in Mexico. Will be interesting what those sales do if price increases 25%

Tacomas were made in California and Mexico, they are just made in Mexico now. Tariffs might make them move production back to the states.

Yes, you are right. Just like Mustang, Silverado, Jeep Compass, all the engines for Dodge, Chrysler etc. But yes, tariffs will help American companies. :D
