I just got a new 2024 Limited. I can't find anyway to adjust the CarPlay volume while getting Map App guidance directions. Same thing with Waze App. Other threads mention adjusting the volume while the CarPlay voice is speaking (my old Nissan worked that way for Radio vs Navigation).
Nothing I try has worked. I've tried adjusting volume on the iPhone, adjusting volume while the voice is speaking, looked for adjustments on the iPhone Settings, and I looked for adjustments in the 4Runner screen setup. Any ideas?

Mine is the same ('23 ORP). I think it's just bad programming/ design.

Our Crosstrek allows you to adjust the navigation volume separately from the system volume.

If you have an iPhone (don't know which iOS this covers), while not ideal, you can adjust the volume from Low, Med, High while navigating using the pull-up menu at the bottom of the screen (where you would "end route" etc). Look for "Voice Volume".
