What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

We’re right at 6” with some still falling. It’s been a beast in both 2wd/4wd today. Since it never snows here though the mayor has closed all the roads except for emergencies tomorrow.

 

Installed OE Panels switch panel. Super well done piece and looks great. Now need to buy a few more lights. Only 3 hooked up at this point.

 

This came in today. Just need to figure out how I'm going to delete the logo and some decent weather to paint it up. Anither spring project.

 

No photo as it was a brief outing, but we finally got 2" of snow here in Raleigh so I was able to exercise 4H, 4L as well as the rear locker. Honestly with the AT3's on there I almost didn't even need 4H, but was good to work through the various systems.

 

Wow, you guys got more snow than we did up here in the mountains.

 

I've been in Texas the last couple weeks. They got an inch of snow where I am and everything was down yesterday and at least the first half of today too

Yes! We don't do snow here in Texas. You show us a cloud and we start buying wood and toilet paper.

 

Same in Phoenix. We don't even do rain very well.

Some don't realize we have mountains in the state so some of us get a little snow action from time to time but have to go looking for it.
Drivers seem to leave their common sense at home on rainy days.
Hard freeze warning here the past day or two. LOL. That's more about the plants though.

 

Thanks for the update. Sounds about what I'm looking for. If/when I lift I don't think I will go the 5100 route and for now I just want to wheel at stock height and get a better feel for the truck as is.

Thank you for thinking of me! I got laid off and have been wrestling with what to do with the 4Runner giving it was one of my biggest expenses and have made the painful choice to start parting it and getting rid of it. I had someone who wanted it as is and was going to pay my loan off but Toyota Financial says up to a month to get the title and he didn't want to wait. Can't say I blame him.

the weather is so nice I just took a drive in the country.

Installed some “D” rings on top of my drawer unit. Not as strong as the stock ones but they’re being used by the drawer unit
