    currently, have the stock bumper on my ‘07 t4r. . . i wanna replace the bumper eventually, soon hopefully. Im also considering just adding a grille guard for now. should i do the guard while i wait or just go full out w the bumper since im gonna do it at some point anyway??

    I don’t think it’s worth spending money on something you never intended to keep. (in this case)

    Note that if you go for a whole metal bumper you’ll likely need to upgrade the front suspension too.

    It's my experience that adding anything more than 100 lbs on the front will require, at a minimum, higher load springs.

    Go to a full width steel bumper where you're adding close to 200 lbs you'd better upgrade the springs...which also means shocks to dampen out that additional mass.
