Getting a windshield replaced this coming week with an OEM... the dealership and work space is indoors but the forecasted low temp is - 11 F with a high around 0 .... is this an issue or something I should tell them to wait on ? I can't seem to find anything online.

    Thanks in advance!

I personally would wait until it warms up significantly. It's fine to replace in their shop, as I assume they keep it above 50F. The problem lies after you leave. The adhesive is still curing. I can't imagine sub-zero temps are doing it any favors. This might help>https://allstar-glass.com/windshiel...e-drive-away-time-vs-minimum-drive-away-time/

I agree I would wait unless absolutely necessary. Why risk it

Don’t go through a car wash till it warms up too

I also remember my stone chip guy telling me to leave window cracked slightly for day or so after install. Apparently pressure inside from closing door can compromise the new seal. So if you have a garage leave window cracked overnight when you do have it done
