Success! I had slight extended cranking on cold start, loss of throttle response intermittently and code p0120, I replaced the throttle position sensor but then I got code p0128, I tried to repair / resolder the pedal position sensor internal terminals since the part was not avail and new throttle body was $450,,, it got worse so I was going to order a new throttle body…. Stumbled upon this pps for tundra Tacoma 3.4 v6,,, was on Amazon prime so worth a shot!!!! Replaced it but car wouldn’t start without flooring it…. A little more searching and found out to reset ecu parameters by unplugging battery 5 mins, setting tps position half way with screws loose,, started right up, no codes,,, let it warm up
and set idle to 700rpm by adjusting tps, locked it down and running like new!!!

this was for my 2002 4Runner

There is no adjustment that I know of for the PPS so you should be able to just swap it in. The ECU may need about a day to relearn things which it should just have a bit of a high idle until it does.

Entonces luego de hacer el cambio de la pps debo reiniciar el ecu o con solo desconectar la batería por 5 minutos y volver a conectar bastaria?

I don't know if I'd even disconnect the battery on this one. The ECU should be able to figure it out. But if you want to disconnect the battery for a while, it won't hurt anything.
