Which crossbars are those?

 

I bought a 24 trd orp on their very last run in September. I wanted the 4.0 and got a great deal on it new. I’m happy I did so, I love the truck

 

That is a great looking truck. I wouldn’t change anything

 

Received my 24 Pro in January 2024. Traded my 2018 Silver OR for it .

Blue on ORP is of the best colors.

Bought the exact model in August 2024. Loving mine!

 

Ordered mine in August ('24 TRD ORP, Underground, black TRD wheels and emblems), picked it up early October.

Was originally set on a Tacoma but after the rollout debacle on those I started looking at 4Runners, and decided I wanted to get a Gen 5 before the new ones came out with potentially the same issues as the Tacoma.

First truck/SUV after close to 3 decades of driving VW sedans, so it took some adjustment in driving style and gas mileage expectations.

No real mods yet, front side windows tinted to match the rears, Thule cross bars added to the factory rails, and have a pro/heritage grille and OEM valances (silver, that I'm going to paint satin black) to install. Getting it Fluid Filmed tomorrow.

 

Wife and I bought our 2024 TRD ORP in April 2024 - the first weekend after the 6th gen was announced! This is probably the only vehicle that would have had me spending this kind of money as I have never bought a new vehicle. I turned 40 last year and I call it my 40Runner

 

I went full Canvasback in our entire 4runner and I don't have any regrets. I also did woolwax myself in November.

I bought my 24 ORP on March 30. I bought new because the prices for used were only slightly less than new. I originally wanted a new Tacoma, but after a little research I decided I didn’t want anything to do with the new 4cyl and tranny and then learning the new gen 4Runner was slated for the same, I opted for the reliable 5th gen 4Runner. Loving me decision!

 

Took five months wait listed at four different dealers to get my 2023 ORP with KDSS and moonroof in lunar rock color and I sold my 2015 TP with only 60,000 miles on it to my daughter in Denver

 

Picked her up on 02/27/2024, after some grinding, but not a lot, received a 5% discount off Msrp, apx. $2,500. Coming up on her one year anniversary. I’m still so stoked that when I walk out in the garage I say to myself, “hell yeah, that’s mine”!

 

I told my wife today how good she looks driving my still new 4Runner.
Still had to hang up the damn mirror she's been bugging me about.
(I'm holding the mirror up on the wall while she gauges how she thinks it looks, "what do you think of that?"
I say, "just make up your mind!")

 

You went north to Longo? I got a great deal on my 2024 in May at Escondido Toyota. Helps to know the G.M.

Yep, Longo, only because they had the exact color, model/trim, optional equipment (both factory and port installed), example; KDSS, TRD wheels, black out kit, roof rack cross bars, etc. Didn’t want the Predator steps, tried to get them to buy them back, but they said it was part of the package. Also, they had over 100 4Runners in stock ready for delivery. Tried to buy one from Toyota of Poway, but their allocation is so low I would have had to wait for months. As a side note, I know the fella in the F & I department that I trained in 1985 while I was working at a Honda dealership in Escondido. He’s the one who said that there’s no Underground TRD ORP’s coming that he could see on the computer at this time. He told me to buy one where ever you can find the one you really, he doesn’t care a bit.

 

Honda of Escondido owned by Steve Cushman at that time? What position did you hold while at Honda of Escondido?
My In-Laws live in the Los Angeles area and have purchased several vehicles at Longo
I did pretty good on the purchase of my 2024 4Runner SR5 Blackout Edition in May from Toyota of Escondido
